The player acts as a shipowner in the 18th century Caribbean. Despite the fact that the character is present in the game and you can upgrade some of his skills - the gameplay is based on ships and sea battles.

The player has much freedom on the ship. He can complete quests or pass a campaign, deal with trading, buying goods in one port at low prices and selling at high prices, work as a security guard, or take the role of a pirate. The ship can be upgraded by setting additional equipment on it. You can buy a new one or even more. Any port or island can be seized, or you can take back your own and develop it.
