In each port city you can build a new ship. To get rare parts, sometimes you will need to improve a wharf or build a lighthouse. This requires additional resources from special modes, like time trials. The developers paid special attention to the ship editor. The player chooses the shape of the deck, the color and texture of the sails, the design of the captain's bridge and many other little things.
