The playing field is represented by an island in the middle of the ocean. The game requires minimal participation of the player - you just need to build constructions for the available money and wait for these constructions to bring income that can be spent for new construction. 

Besides waiting and construction the player can deal with research to open new buildings and goods produced as well as island expansion. If you get tired of waiting for money to be collected, you can try to steal them from other players. In this case you will have to make sure your own city is not robbed.
